Marc Scheffel is a lifelong guitar player and researcher of musical theory and methods as related to guitar. His style influences are in rock, guitar solos, finger-picking, metal music, and fusion artists. He is the author of Fretboard Positions Diagram: A Guitar Fretboard Unscrambler. It's a full color illustrated book which was written to help relieve confusion in the guitar world about playing scales and modes, how to apply them over chords and in various keys, and how chords and intervals are derived and formed on the fretboard.
Marc and his wife Jeanne live in Missouri and only have one of four children still at home. They just became Grandparents so Marc has a fresh guitarist to share his love of music with.
